Meet Our ARC BCBAs

Hannah Lawson

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Hannah first joined the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2017 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2020. She earned her master's degree in ABA from Ball State University, along with a Certificate in Autism. Hannah has experience working with children and young adults ages 2–20 across the autism spectrum. Hannah is passionate about teaching functional communication, self-advocacy skills, and providing neurodiversity-affirming care. She has a special interest in language acquisition and enjoys supporting clients as they develop meaningful and effective ways to communicate. Hannah strives to build strong, collaborative relationships with families and tailors treatment plans to align with each client's strengths, needs, and the values of the family. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and son, going to the movies, and browsing local antique shops.

Krystal Froehlich

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Krystal earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from South Dakota State University and her master’s degree from Regis College. She began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019 after completing her undergraduate studies in 2018 and relocating to California, where she gained early hands-on experience supporting individuals with autism. Krystal especially enjoys working in early childhood intervention and is passionate about skill acquisition and communication development. Her professional interests include ABA terminology, education within the field, and teaching children Functional Communication Training (FCT) and other communication skills that help them effectively express their needs. She is also skilled in responding to maladaptive behaviors and teaching families practical strategies to address challenging behavior in supportive, effective ways. One of the most rewarding parts of Krystal’s work is partnering with families and seeing the meaningful impact ABA can have on daily life. She enjoys helping caregivers understand behavior and equipping them with tools to confidently respond to their child’s needs. Outside of work, Krystal enjoys walking her dogs, fostering dogs, shopping, listening to true-crime podcasts, watching reality television, and keeping up with social media.

Austin Haak

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Austin has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2020. He earned his undergraduate degree from Dordt University in Elementary Education and K–12 Special Education in May 2022. After beginning his work in ABA, he developed a strong interest in supporting individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities through evidence-based practices. Austin continued his education at Dordt University and completed his master's degree in special education in December 2024. Austin has experience working with a variety of learners, with a particular passion for early intervention and social skills development. He enjoys helping children build foundational communication, play, and interaction skills that support long-term growth and independence. His professional interests include communication development, functional communication training (FCT), and teaching social and adaptive skills that allow learners to be more successful across settings. In his role, Austin also enjoys collaborating with families and helping them learn practical strategies they can use at home to support their child’s progress. Outside of his work in ABA, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs. He also enjoys traveling, watching football, and getting out on the golf course whenever he can.

Amanda Green

Board Certified Behavior Analyst Clinical Director
Amanda earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of West Florida and her master’s degree from Arizona State University. She began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2017 in Pensacola, FL where she grew in the field from an RBT, BCaBA, and BCBA. She has since served as a BCBA in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands and in Charlotte, NC. Amanda is passionate about identifying each kids learning style and developing communication skills. Her professional interests in the field include Functional Communication Training (FCT) and relational frame theory. What she loves most about working with families is seeing how a child’s growth impacts everyone around them. When a child learns a new skill or experiences a reduction in challenging behaviors it often creates a ripple effect strengthening connections and opening up new opportunities for meaningful interaction with the entire family. Outside of work Amanda enjoys anything sports related, being with friends, or hanging out with her cat.

Halle Kroeplin

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Halle earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with minors in Psychology and Rehabilitation Services and Counseling, from South Dakota State University. She later completed her Master of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis at Augustana University. Halle began working in ABA in 2023 as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at an early intervention clinic and quickly developed a strong passion for the field. She has lived in South Dakota for most of her life, spending one year working at a clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska before returning home to South Dakota. Halle enjoys working with a wide range of clients from early intervention to young adulthood and values the variety that comes with supporting individuals with different needs and goals. Her favorite area of ABA is teaching functional communication strategies to help give children a voice while developing meaningful replacement behaviors. She especially enjoys working with families and providing parent training and finds it rewarding when caregivers report seeing progress and positive changes at home and in the community. Outside of work, Halle enjoys traveling with her friends and family.

Macy Vance

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Macy earned her master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA from Montana State University Billings. She began working in ABA in 2021. Macy is passionate about working with learners of all ages especially pre school age or older clients who are learning independent living skills. She has special interests in sleep difficulties, skill-based treatment, and toilet training. Hearing success stories from families and seeing clients access new environments after mastering new skills keeps her motivated. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and working on interior design or home DIY projects.

Amber Grengs

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Amber earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from South Dakota State University, followed by a Master’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program. She began her journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2015 as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) during a college internship, an experience that quickly sparked her passion and led her to pursue a career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Amber is especially passionate about working in early intervention, with a focus on supporting early learners and individuals who are nonverbal or have emerging communication skills. She is deeply interested in identifying and teaching functional communication systems that best meet each learner’s unique needs. One of the most meaningful parts of her work is collaborating with families and caregivers, where she values not only client progress but also the growth and confidence of those supporting them every day.Outside of her professional role, Amber enjoys spending time with her dog, often making homemade treats, and cherishes opportunities to spoil her nieces and nephews.

Kathy Takahashi

Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Kathy completed her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chaminade University of Honolulu while also earning her Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) certificate through Florida Institute of Technology. She has been working in the ABA field since 2016 and loves being part of a field that focuses on helping children build meaningful skills and confidence. She especially enjoys working with young children and helping them develop early communication, play, and independence skills—but she also loves working with older kids and supporting them as they grow, learn, and reach new milestones. Some of Kathy’s favorite parts of the job are partnering with families and helping them celebrate both big and small wins along the way. She also enjoys training and mentoring staff and supporting anyone who is interested in learning more about the field of ABA. Outside of work, Kathy enjoys hiking, trying new foods, and getting creative with painting.
